Overall, this is a pretty good BD player. It sets up easily. The wireless is very convenient since I don't know many people who have an Ethernet connection in their living room. However it does occasionally shut down and must be unplugged from and replugged into the wall. Also, I do not yet own and HDTV (someday, but I got this mostly to stream NetFlix and also to upgrade my old DVD player) and when I initially hooked this up, I got no display. I called Toshiba (before I got ready to send it back) and they explained to me that the first time it is turned on the resolution is set to Auto HDMI, which a standard TV cannot display. I had to manually change it to 480i and it was fine. Then I had problems setting up the screen size. It kept wanting to play everything (DVDs, TV, and NetFlix) in 4:3 (full screen) ratio. It took me a while to figure that out. I tried every setting, then realized that when I changed the setting, I had to reset (unplug) the unit. That was annoying. Another problem is with VuDu. Some movies on VuDu freeze up on this unit. You get half way through and can go no further. And if you rewind, it stops at the exact same spot. This has only happened with one of the about 5 movies I have rented from VuDu. I called VuDu and was told this problem is specific to this unit and that Toshiba needs to update the firmware. Of course, when I contacted Toshiba, they blamed VuDu.
